4 Ways to minimise distractions from smart phones

Smartphones have been amazing and helpful in our day to day activities. A smartphone most times replaces
a camera, notebook, music player, video player and more. But however by converging all these together in one device, we are actually begging for distraction.
Now let's take a look at some of the ways to keep smartphones from distracting you.
1. Have a no-phone policy : you might have to decide not to touch your phone once its 10pm so you could have a good night rest.
2. Install only the applications you need :
The Google play store and the apple app store are filled new applications and both have more than 800,000 applications you can install. Does it then imply that you must necessarily install all the apps?? NO! So adopt a habit of only installing the apps you need for some certain tasks thereby reducing distractions.

3. Keep a clean home screen : as we already know about installing only the apps needed, one should also keep the home screen clean to ensure better focus. Keep apps that you rarely use but you still need the off your home screen. By doing this, you will not be tempted to open them when you really do not need them.
4. Use different devices for different tasks: this might sound somehow Becouse after all you have bought your smartphone phone so you could enjoy all those features in one device but think about it. Reading on a smartphone drains battery and weakens the eye. Watching a video even makes both worst. So having different devices for different tasks might save you money, help your health and keep you more focused.
